ABOUT THE SHOW

What kind of toys will be at Vintage Toy Riot?

Vintage Toy Riot is focused on toys from the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s.

Expect a mixture of loose action figures, vehicles, playsets, boxed toys, carded figures, TV and movie toys, robots, monsters, die-cast, Japanese toys and plenty of more obscure pieces.

Stock will vary from dealer to dealer, so we can’t guarantee any particular toy line will be available. That’s part of the fun.

Is Vintage Toy Riot a vintage-only show?

Yes.

Our focus is toys manufactured before 2000.

Modern Funko Pops, current-release action figures, modern Star Wars Black Series and Pokémon products or trading cards are outside the focus of the show.

Vintage Toy Riot is deliberately being built around old toys.

How many dealers will there be?

The final number hasn’t yet been confirmed, but we’re aiming for approximately 80–100 tables of vintage toys at the inaugural Vintage Toy Riot.

Confirmed dealers will be announced on the website as we get closer to the show.

Can I apply for a trader table?

Vintage Toy Riot trader spaces are being handled by invitation.

We are not currently operating an open trader application process.

BUYING & SELLING

Can I bring toys with me to sell to dealers?

You’re welcome to speak directly to individual dealers about toys they may be interested in buying.

Vintage Toy Riot cannot guarantee that any dealer will want to purchase items brought into the show.

Will dealers accept card payments?

Payment methods are decided by individual dealers.

Some will accept cards or digital payments while others may prefer cash, so if you’re planning to buy we recommend bringing more than one payment option.

Is there a cash machine nearby?

Bournemouth Pavilion does not have cash machines inside the building, and the venue operates cashlessly for purchases at its bars and cafés.

There are cash machines in central Bournemouth, including options around Westover Road, The Square and Old Christchurch Road.
